in a Sea of Debt
"Remember... your will to save should be stronger than your will to spend."
"Acquire a new spending mindset to live debt free."
Judy Guralchuk's background is admirable. Having had a stroke at birth and an underdeveloped cerebellum, she has lived with mental and physical residuals from that, plus suffering belittling and condemnations all her life. With the help of her 2nd husband, John, she was finally able to attain self-confidence and overcome obstacles of her past.
One of the hurdles Judy was able to conquer was overspending. She used to be like so many others, overspending and in debt, wanting to live within her means, but never quite knowing how. John, who had always lived within his means, taught Judy how to transition from old debt inducing spending habits to permanent financial astuteness, without feeling deprived.
She's written A Life Preserver in a Sea of Debt: How to acquire a new mindset to transition from overspending to permanent financial stability and have fun doing it. She shares her secrets of success and enlightens us so that we may achieve that same degree of financial stability.
She and John live in Montana where they take pleasure in organic gardening and 'put up' their own fruits and vegetables. Judy enjoys sewing, quilting, yard work, hiking and exercising, and visiting old ghost towns. She has a close relationship with her three children. The things that are most important to her are family, integrity, kindness, leading a healthy life style, and a respect for the environment.
